Services for Mrs. Pearl Ussery Arnold, 95, will be held at

2 p.m. Sunday at East Dublin Baptist Church with

burial to follow at Pleasant Olive Cemetery. The Rev.

Gene Hemingway, the Rev. Keith Hall, Michael Brooks

and Geraldine Morris will officiate.

Mrs. Arnold was born in Jeff Davis County. She was a

resident of Dublin most of her life. She was the

daughter of the late Eli Ussery and the late Nora Payne.

She was a member of East Dublin Baptist Church a

member of the choir and WMU. She was a housewife.

Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by her husband,

William Green Arnold, daughter, Willie Nell Arnold and

stepson, Bernice Arnold. Mrs. Arnold died Friday, April

27, 2007.

Survivors include: daughter, Wylene (Jimmy) Scott of

Dublin; son, William Dervis Arnold of Dublin; daughter,

Geraldine Morris of Dublin; son, Dr. Bobby (Tina) H.

Arnold of Zebulon, Ga.; grandchildren, Pam (Keith) Hall

of Dublin; Karen (Sam) Hoarsley of Dublin; Renee

(Kevin) Daniel of Dublin; Donna (Stan) Dollar of Dublin;

William (Marie) Arnold Jr. of Dublin; Jason (Starleigh)

Arnold of Dublin; Michael (Stacey) Brooks of Dublin;

Kevin Brooks of Dublin; Karen (Davey) Copeland of

Beaufort, S.C.; Angie Sojico of California; Austin Arnold

of Zebulon, Ga.; Kayla Arnold of Zebulon, Ga.; Alvin

(Becky) Arnold of Macon; Debbie Arnold of Macon; and

15 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be James Passmore, Stan Dollar,

Jason Arnold, Frank Smith, Davey Copeland and Bart


The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers

Funeral Home today from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Visit to sign the online
