gpn05 Legal No. 12-610 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS City of Dublin 100 South Church Street Dublin, Georgia 31021 TRAVEL CENTER BOULEVARD NATURAL GAS FACILITIES RELOCATION Separate sealed Bids for the replacement of an 8-inch steel high-pressure natural gas main and a 2-inch polyethylene natural gas main, and other related gas facilities will be received by the City of Dublin at City Hall, 100 South Church Street, Dublin, Georgia until 2:00 p.m. local time, December 3, 2012 , and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. The project generally includes the installation of 850 linear feet of 8-inch steel gas main, 50 linear feet of 2-inch steel gas main, 370 linear feet of 4-inch polyethylene gas main, line valves, a pressure regulating station, and the removal of 500 linear feet of existing 8-inch steel gas main. No proposal will be considered unless it is accompanied by evidence that the Bidder holds Georgia State Contractor's License of proper classification and in full force and effect, in compliance with Act. O.C.G.A. 43-14. Contractor must be a qualified natural gas contractor under the laws of the State of Georgia, must comply with any Federal, State, and City guidelines and regulations. The Contract Documents, consisting of Advertisement for Bids, Information for Bidders, Bid, Bid Security, Agreement, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, Payment Bond, Performance Bond, Notice of Award, Notice to Proceed, Change Order, Drawings, Certificate of Substantial Completion, Specifications and Addenda may be examined at the following locations: City of Dublin, City Hall, 100 South Church Street, Dublin, Georgia 31021 Keck & Wood, Inc., 2750 Premiere Parkway, Suite 900, Duluth, Georgia 30097 In order to assure that Bidders receive all addenda and or clarifications to the bid documents in a timely manner, it is highly recommended that all bidders obtain at least one complete set of Bid Documents directly from the Engineer. Entities that do not purchase Bid Documents from the Engineer will not be on the Engineer's plans holder list and will not receive addenda and or clarifications to the bid documents directly from the Engineer. Bidders relying on plan rooms or other services to obtain the Bid Documents, rather than purchasing them directly from the Engineer, are doing so at their own risk.
